Hey, what can we say? Dream big. |
TV Review - The One With the Bold Wish List
Description: One of the directors of All Souls Con, and the person behind The Tenth Knot, Laura Ventura joins us to dream about Season/Series 2 of A Discovery of Witches!SPOILER ALERT! We (The Daemons) approach this podcast with an assumption that the listener has read All Souls universe books, including the trilogy (A Discovery of Witches, Shadow of Night, The Book of Life), and Time's Convert + snippits from The World of All Souls. If you haven't, and you don't mind, we certainly don't mind! Please be advised, we will approach the television series (A Discovery of Witches) the same way when it is released in the US/Canada. π Let's do this. *Note - this podcast is labeled 'explicit'

- Laura - Break Shadow of Night into two seasons!

- Jean - Mont St. Michel scene; specifically confessional with the cardinal (Add Beth Ann too!)
- Valerie - Make Kit extra. Extra in personality and extra in character study.
- π₯Round 2

- Valerie - Françoise and Pierre must be included. A DEMAND! Also, more screen time for them.
- π₯Round 3
- Laura - Philippe playing the kithara (also allow him to speak Greek and Latin)
- Angela - The sets ... as spectacular as they'll make them, she wants the details of little things like La Robe to remain the same.
- Jean - Marcus and Phoebe's meeting! WE NEED THIS!
- Valerie - Gillian, please let's flash forward/back ... solve that mystery!
- π₯Round 4
- Laura - Elizabethan London, a glimpse of the life of an Elizabethan citizen.
- Angela - The music! A good, compelling soundtrack!
- Jean - Sarah Walker comes back to direct some scenes.
- Valerie - Ysabeau, Sarah, Emily scene! The note exchanges!
- Questions: How will Prague be handled? How will the pregnancy be handled? Fancasting? Queen Elizabeth?
SHADOW OF NIGHT all fits into season 2. ❤️ https://t.co/EA52WSGAW8— Deborah Harkness (@DebHarkness) March 22, 2019

* Our episode titles are a loving tribute to the show "Friends" just 'cause we love Friends and - let's face it - it's easier! Here's how one of the show creators explains their reasoning:
Jeff Greenstein: "When Marta & David & Jeff & I did 'Dream On', we used to spend a lot of time thinking about titles, because they were on-screen at the top of each episode. On "Friends", we decided that was a waste of time. We figured, why not name each episode after the thing that people will ostensibly be talking about around the water-cooler the next day?"
